HOW IT WORKS
NLite is a revolutionary, non-invasive IPL treatment that stimulates the production of natural collagen in the skin. As we grow old the levels of collagen reduce resulting in the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Clinical trials of the NLite IPL conducted by a leading US pharmaceutical company have shown it, in many cases, to increase production of natural collagen by up to 85% resulting in an increased thickness of skin and smoothing of lines and wrinkles.
TOTAL SKIN HEALTH MAINTENANCE
The NLite treatment can be combined with other non-invasive resurfacing treatments such as Microdermabrasion (provide link) and Glycolic Peels (provide link) as well as phytoceutical topical creams to enhance the surface texture of the skin.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
The treatment itself is very fast, about 30 minutes for a full facial treatment, and is totally safe leaving no signs on the skin surface. This is because the IPL works on the lower surface or Dermis section of the skin where collagen production occurs. As a result you can have a treatment during your lunch break and return to work with no visible signs of treatment*. A course of 3-5 treatments is recommended, with two weeks between treatment. Over the next three months following your course, you will notice a gradual but significant reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles as the collagen levels increase. Additional treatments may be required every six months to maintain and enhance results but this depends very much on the individual. We will be happy to advise you further during your consultation.
WHICH AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
The treatment is suitable for a number of areas including eyes, mouth, forehead, cheeks, and neck and can be used on all skin types. Unlike other IPL resurfacing treatments it is in most cases a painless procedure requiring no recovery time. You will only feel a mild tingling sensation as the IPL light is absorbed in the skin.
