Perlane® is a dermal filler that is injected into the skin to correct wrinkles and depressions. It is a simple procedure that instantly softens lines and wrinkles and enhances your natural features. Perlane® restores volume, improves skin elasticity and smoothes lines and imperfections. Perlane® is a natural non-animal product so no skin test is required before treatment.
What areas can be treated with Perlane®?
Perlane® can be used to shape facial contours such as the cheeks and the chin and to correct deep nose to mouth lines.
How does Perlane® work?
Anaesthetic is applied to the treated area and the product is injected in to the area that you would like to improve. The result is instant and can last for up to 12 months.
How many Perlane® treatments will I need?
Only a single treatment is needed to give you a great result but sometimes patients can return in two weeks for more if they feel they want to add more product.
Will the Perlane® treatment hurt?
We use an anaesthetic in the form of a cream or injection if required to make the treatment comfortable for the patient. An ultra fine needle is used to inject the product. Slight redness can be expected after the treatment which normally disappears very quickly.
How long will the Perlane® effect last for?
The effect can last from 6 to12 months. The body breaks down the product naturally and sometimes patients like to come back for a top up treatment before they product has disappeared completely.
How much will Perlane® cost?
Our doctor or nurse will discuss a suitable treatment plan at your free consultation. We will access your skin and discuss how much product is needed to get the best result.
How long do Perlane® treatments take?
Around 30 min.
